PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND / EXPERIENCE:
Dr Gideon Lurie is an Australian trained paediatrician with extensive experience in both general medicine and developmental paediatrics. Gideon graduated from Monash University in 1999 before undertaking paediatric training through the Royal Children’s Hospital and Monash Medical Centre. During his advanced training, Gideon worked in both Australia and New Zealand in many different areas of paediatrics. He completed his paediatric fellowship in 2008.
Gideon has run a busy private practice in Mount Waverley for over ten years. He has a public hospital position at Sandringham Hospital, and he is also a visiting paediatric specialist at Cabrini Hospital and Waverley Private Hospital.
PROFESSIONAL INTERESTS
Gideon sees children up to the age of eighteen years. He is trained in all aspects of general and developmental paediatrics.
